Thank You for Choosing TrueFix Collision
We truly appreciate your trust in allowing us to handle your vehicle’s repair. Now that you're back behind the wheel, we want to help you preserve that fresh, like-new finish for as long as possible.
Our certified technicians recommend the following guidelines to protect your new paint job:
First 30 Days
Avoid automatic car washes. Though convenient, their brushes and harsh materials can harm your new finish.
Don’t wash your car in direct sunlight. Instead, wash it by hand in the shade using cool water, mild soap, and a soft cloth or sponge.
Steer clear of gravel roads. Even small stones can cause noticeable damage to fresh paint.
Try not to park in areas with extreme heat or cold, as temperature swings can affect curing.
Avoid parking under trees that drip sap or resin—these can stain and damage fresh paint.
Remove bird droppings as soon as possible. Their acidic content can quickly ruin a new surface.
Stay away from industrial zones with heavy smoke or airborne debris. Contaminants can settle into your paint.
If fuel, oil, or antifreeze spills onto the surface, rinse it off immediately with water and let it air-dry.
Don’t scrape snow or ice off painted areas. Stick to clearing the windows and let the rest melt naturally.
Avoid dry-wiping dust or dirt from the vehicle. Only use clean, cool water.
First 90 Days
Skip waxing or polishing. It’s important to let the paint cure fully before applying any wax or polish.
By following these simple tips, your vehicle will maintain that freshly refinished look for the long run—just like we intended here at TrueFix Auto Body.
